I Love The Sunshine

Over the past few days I have enjoyed creating some beautiful potted roses…I set out to buy two large pots and two standard roses. I bought the largest pots I could find…really lovely by the Yorkshire Flower Pot Company. Happy with my purchase I set off to get the roses…I got a little carried away and rather then just the two I set out for…I got 10! I also got lots of potting compost, went home and potted up two in the pots I had…finished with lovely RHS approved grit, they look stunning either side of my back door. That was yesterday.

This morning I set out to get another 8 pots…not quite as stately as the original two. In part because of the size…and the cost! I now have a row of the most delightful standard roses…it has made me consider doing a full garden overhaul.

I have basically spent the last two days in the garden in the sunshine. I am taking tomorrow off so I can enjoy a day in the garden without doing any work…well maybe I will potter, but there will be a lot of sitting down too.

It is amazing how the sunshine can have such a positive effect on me. Even happier than normal…and that is saying something!
